Private notes and labels for Google Groups members.

Google Groups Notes is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you add private notes and labels to members directly inside Google Groups.

Keep useful context about members where you actually need it, without maintaining a separate spreadsheet or document.

Private Member Notes

Add a private note to a Google Groups member directly from the Members or Pending Members screen.

Labels and Custom Tags

Organize members using labels such as:

  • Follow-up
  • Warning
  • VIP
  • Attendance

You can also create your own custom tags.

Notes Inside Google Groups

Members with saved notes are clearly marked inside Google Groups, with their relevant tags visible alongside them.

Searchable Notes Dashboard

Open Google Groups Notes from the Chrome toolbar to view and search your saved notes by member name, email address, note content or tag.

Edit and Delete

Update or delete saved notes whenever required, either while working in Google Groups or from the extension dashboard.

Backup and Restore

Export your saved notes as a backup file and import them again when needed.

Privacy First

Google Groups Notes is designed to keep your notes private.

Notes and tags are stored using Chrome’s extension storage in your Chrome profile.

The extension does not require a separate account and does not operate an external server for storing your notes.

Google Groups Notes accesses Google Groups pages only to provide its member-note functionality.
